Researched and published by Woodward/White, The Best Dentists in America is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which 9,680 leading dentists throughout the country voted on the abilities of other dentists. Voting was anonymous, and listings cannot be purchased for inclusion. Dr.

Addleson, president-elect of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), has been practicing general dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetics in San Diego since he graduated from the USC School of Dentistry. At the last International Scientific Session of the AACD Dr. Addleson was awarded two Gold Medals for cases presented in the double-blind Smile Design Competition. As President-Elect of the AACD, an Accredited member, Fellow of the Academy, and a Board Examiner for both Accreditation and Fellowship, Dr. Addleson has been a leader in cosmetic dentistry and mentor for other dentists.
